WHAT IS A SELF TAPE AUDITION?

A self tape audition is a way for an actor to audition for a part without actually having to be in the room or on location with the casting director.  Self tapes can also be used to showcase their abilities to agents, managers and directors and to share their talents via their websites and on social media.  Self tapes are the perfect tool for an actor to be seen, discovered and land that role.  

 

WHY SELF TAPE?

There are several reasons why an actor should self tape. First and foremost, the industry is changing and we are seeing many casting directors require the first round of auditions be via self submitted tapes.  Secondly, sometimes you are simply unavailable for the scheduled audition time, whether it be that you are on location shooting, out of town or can’t get someone to cover your shift at work.  

 

Self taping is the wave of the future with the online streaming revolution clearly in place and knowing how to properly self tape should be an essential part of every actors professional arsenal.

Self taping with Lucie is a breeze. In addition to providing you with the perfect environment to tape your audition (comfortable location, professional lighting, sound and HD format camera), she will also supply you with a professional actor to read opposite you.  Lucie will also edit, compress and provide you a hardcopy of your audition via flash drive or hard copy and send you an email with a link to download. After your successful self-taping experience with Lucie you will have a professionally filmed and edited audition.

CORPORATE/LAWYER/REAL ESTATE/PROFESSIONAL PORTRAITS

  • 1st person – $195
  • Each additional person up to 10 – $75
  • Each additional person after 10 – $50
  • Can do on location. Travel fee of $75 is waved when shooting more then 6 people.

RETOUCHING:

  • Retouching is complimentary and included in the price for all packages. That's the signature of Lucie Aleks Photography
  • Retouching includes eye and teeth whitening, skin tone correction/smoothing, general lighting and color enhancements, and sharpening.

MAKE UP AND HAIR:

  • Make up and hair are optional (however, highly recommended). 

WOMEN:

  • make up $75
  • hair and make up $150

MEN:

  • Makeup is $45

CHILDREN:
